Our unbeatable recipe combines the crunchiness of dark chocolate and the softness of madeleine with its good buttery taste. It is difficult to resist this gourmet which seduces the most of us, and does so since 1973. Did you know that we patented our recipe at that time? And it has been copied for over 40 years, but never equaled. Ask our consumers! Try it, adopt it. This is a very long term adoption - we warned you. 

Our madeleines are made in Charente-Maritime. In our chocolate workshop, all our shells are molded by hand, which is why the chocolate remains hard and crunchy. It is also the mix between this crunchiness and the softness of the madeleine that makes our recipe so good and addictive.

Chocolate shells are Maison Colibri's signature recipes. This is why we have a dedicated workshop to make them. And that we continue to innovate in our recipes with them. Initially we only had the dark chocolate shell, now we have the milk chocolate shell: a treat.
